Guylen confessed that friends
and chance meetings gave her the opportunity to live her passion.
Guylen discovered singing in 1997 through a gospel choir as an alto. In
1999, Joy Cellen the director of the gospel choir encouraged
Guylen to continue as a soloist. In 2001 she left Paris to move to Singapore,
she met Nathalie Ribette who invited her to audition for
a musical.
At this occasion, she got to meet Babes Conde who offers to help her.
Babes
Conde
A double-degree holder of Music (Piano and Music Education) Babes flowed
into the mainstream of the Singapore music scene since she moved here in
1985. In various capacities as Musical Director, Arranger, Choral Mistress
and composer and Pianist.
Babes has sought to raise awareness for the less fortunate in her “Babes
& Friends” concerts that are in aid of Breast Cancer Foundation,
Children Cancer Society and Kids with Aids.
She offered Guylen to sing with her :
